I have a 20 gallon with a 3 swordtails and 3 platies. I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for a very colorful yet peaceful fish that is not a livebearer, since the number of fry is getting out of control in my fry tank.

Cherry barbs do well in pairs and are quite pretty.

If you don't want to mess with fry you could get Endler's males.

Depending on the temp of your tank a paradise fish would look good. Dwarf gouramis are nice too.
