Okay, I've got a dilemma. For two months now my 125 gallon has sat nearly empty, save for two fish. My plan is to get more Bala Sharks and more plecs, but other than that I'm stuck. There are all sorts of cool fish that could be put in a 125 gallon, but the problem is that my Royal Plec isn't really the fastest at finding food. So I'm restricted to fish that, likewise, do not find food too quickly. Anyone got any ideas for that?:%)

How 'bout a few Severums? They look cool and are somewhat timid

Hillstream Loaches are timid eaters...but they'd probably be eaten by the plecos in no time...

Well I can just say what I have in my 125 gal..and love, are Pearl Gouramies (7) and 5 Hillstreams (spotted)..but the Hillstreams must be with other peaceful fish..so they depend on what kinda plecos you have. I have 2 BNS and a Clown..might get some other unusual ones..if I ever find them available..
(then I also have Cories/female betta/ottos so I don't have room for a whole lot more)

(editted to say: none of these fish are aggressive eaters..however, there have been times where my tiniest, 1" Hillstream annoyed a 5" BN enough that it moved off of the food it was eating and the Hillstream got it..
In general, the Hillstreams are getting acclimated..and very outgoing at this point, they eat with everybody and don't really get spooked)

I'd get some Altums. I've seen them on Aquabib and liveaquaria and keep wishing I had room for them.

I'm not sure how agressive they are when eating but it's a unlikely they'd be down at the bottom competing wih the Pleco.

Have fun, Mike

I'd look at something like an RTS or a rainbow shark. My RTS eats while I watch, but I wouldn't consider him an aggressive eater by any stretch of the imagination. In two years, I've seen my rainbow shark actually eat twice...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

Altums are voracious eaters from what I've heard. I'd stick to more balas and more plecs X). Silver dollars/red hooks sound nice, too.
