The main thing to do is keep water quality top notch; some fry are sensitive to nitrates, so do more water changes, and test the water if you can. If you can provide some small live food, such as baby brine shrimp (BBS), this would be helpful. It's usually best to have no other fish in the tank, as they might eat the fry, or the frys' parents might attack in defense. If the fry survive and grow, you may need to set up an additional 'grow out' tank to provide enough space for the fry to mature. Congrats! |
