Ornate bichirs are Polypterids. Ornates get big, though (24"+). If you have any more questions on ornates, feel free to ask...I have 9 of the beasties myself. |

In 8 weeks, you can expect your ornate to be between 4½"-7". |

Tankmates include datnoids, African arowanas, larger but reasonably peaceful cichlids (like frontosas), etc. The 35 should do you an extra 2-3 months. |
