| Painted Tetras are breeding! | |

Anyway, one year and several tanks later, we discovered that we had a male and a female (we never bothered to fill out the school because we didn't think they would make it that long). Anyway, we just moved them and other fish into a 65 gallon tank last night and this morning that were spawning! ![]() So, we set up a five and moved them over, hoping to save some of the eggs and maybe raise some of the fry. Any advice on successfully raising the fry? Particularly in the way of fry food? Oh yeah, on an amusing note, the male was pink and the female blue! ![]() ![]() |

I have come to believe that they are incapable of reproducing, most likely due to the crap they were coated with. ] ![]() |
