| Pair of Kribs in a 20 gal community for awhile.. | |
girlunderrainbow![]() Big Fish Posts: 323 Kudos: 230 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Aug-2003 ![]() | Awaiting my finishing my 125 gal (which has been set up for 2 years but is being "refurnished" , I have in my 20 gal long (planted)..4 young 2" Pearl Gouramies, 3 small Cories (2 Elegans, one?)..and am getting a young(2" each) pair of Kribs. The kribs are in a community (20g short) tank at LFS with Gouramies, some bottom feeders I think..and other kribs. They don't like the other kribs but don't care about any of the other fish (except for a little baby Red Jewel Cichlid). I am making them a nice rock cave out of river rock(polished) and have some nice driftwood and large rock in the 20 gal long. They will only be in here with the rest of the fish while I am getting my 125 gal ready..then either they will go in it ..or most likely my Pearl Gouramies will go in the big tank and I'll leave the Kribs in the 20 gal and ad some Ottos.Any foreseen probs with this temporary setup? |

They will be breeding soon..er whenever they are ready I guess? The pair is already claiming a hollow log in the tank at LFS. Would just be them , the 3 cories, and the 4 young Pearls. Should have big tank ready in a week or 2..then the Pearl Gouramies will be moving out. |
