I only have some floating anacharis in the tank, and no other living things (no other plants or fish). These look almost like very small ticks or fleas. They seem to be conentrated on the plants themselves, around these bubble looking things that they are moving around and maybe even in. They are very small, no bigger than a millimeter or two, but there is enough of them to see them. They seem to move around almost like little spiders, jumping sometimes even. A few have fallen off and are floating on the top of the water (which is very fast since I have a slightly oversized filter on it). They are blackish in color. Anyone ever seen anything like this? Would they be a threat to any fish I would add, or are they just there for the plants? I'll try to get a picture, but I really think they are too small to get anything good. |
