Blue iris fish, anyone know anything about these? I know they are schooling and are in the Gobiidae family, otherwise, I can't find much information as far as mating, temperment, schooling tendencies and where they like to be in a tank.

Also wondering about Celebes rainbows, bascically same as above. Atherinidae,Telmatherin, ladigesi

I've got a Celebes rainbow, and I'll be getting more once the LFS gets some in and I have some money at the same time.

They're a small schooling fish, I believe they're easy to breed, males have larger fins, females are more brightly colored, they're not agressive (they're very friendly actually...mine is alone and he's not skittish at all, sometimes I can hand feed him), and they're not too hard to take care of. They are a tad expensive though (most are $8-$10, mine was $6), but they're a very cool fish.

They accept live, frozen, pelleted, and most flake foods (I feed mine freeze dried bloodworms, several veggie flakes, and broken up algae wafer pieces, and various other things.

They're not too picky about water conditions, just keep the tank clean and keep the nitrates low, and they'll be fine.

I don't know anything about the other fish, just Celebes Rainbows...

HTH

My Celebes Rainbow tends to stay toward the top...but not ALWAYS on top unless searching for food, like danios... I'd say they're middle-top dwellers...somewhere in there.

I have peacock gudegons. I have seen the goo-obo for sale on aquabid but thats all I know about them. What exactly do you want to know about the Peacocks ?

this is a pic of one of mine when it was TINY ( maybe 3/4- 1 " ). they have grow some since then. Thats one thing and reason you don't often see them for sale at LFS's is because they are such slow growers its hard to keep a market up for them.
