cherry barbs like to be in a M/F or M/2F combos, so they can stay, but take back the gold barb. After that you might be able to fit another fish or 2 in there. have u seen any fish that you are interested in?

you could add more guppies or a few ottos would be nice. If you want something unusual, try khuli loaches

yea guppies would do right but i am not sure of the female betta. some females can be aggressive with those types of tank mates but if u have a good female lucky you.

Your lone gold barb probably wont be that happy. Also, I know cherry barbs aren't as aggressive as tiger barbs, but I would still worry about the betta getting picked apart.
without the gold barb, you could probably have a couple of ottos, and add one or two miore cherry barbs.
