that price is GREAT.

WIth a heater/filter with supplies you could expect a price of aroune $350

But i still think that is a pretty good deal. (BTW - you would pay up to $1000 for a 90g new)

I have to agree, thats a very good price for a 90g.
If you do buy it make sure it's still in good working condition and that the stand is nice and strong.

It's only a good deal if it'll hold water (there's a pun in there I just know it). Set it up on newspaper and carefully pour water in. Dont' spill any. After 24 hours check the paper if they're are any water marks you might want to consider trying to get your money back.

Also check to make sure the stand is a proper tank stand.

Jeez, I spent $350 on my 90 gallon. It came with a nice wooden stand though. But it only had one 40 watt strip light. That was it. So yeah, that's an awesome price if it's true with no defects.

One other thing, be sure to ask the guy for the dimensions of the tank, then verify it with the site calculator. I came across someone selling a 55 as a 75 gallon tank . Always check the dimensions. If it hasn't been set up, ask where it's been stored and for how long .

Yeah, the way you can tell a 55g from a 75g is the width. the 55gal is only like a foot wide.

Yes thats a good price. I paid 150 for my 90g tank used. It came with a fluval 403 and half the lighting (they couldnt find the other half), and the fluval doesnt work at all. However, after all the money I paid for a stand, filtration, etc, when I saw a 90g bowfront in the LFS brand new with filter, metal stand and single CF fixture for $649 I was shocked. So it pays to check around. I put probably 900 dollars into my tank in total- would have saved 300 if id bought the kit in the LFS.
On another note- they currently have a 125 for sale with the following "2 Fluval 404 Filters, 2 300w submersible heaters, Double CF light fixture of 270watts, sliding glass top, and your choice of any 50lbs of substrate (gravel, sand, or flourite), for $799 Canadian "Christmas Tank Buster Sale". If I had space, I tell you I would be Santa for myself this year! Darn small suite!

Oh, and it comes with the metal tube stand as well. I paid 219 bucks for my stand (which is for a 125- but my 90g is long like a 125 6foot).
