I was told at my LFS not to mix dwarf fish with the setup I have. I was wondering if there was any possibility? Or alterations I could do?

Dwarf puffers are notorious fin-nippers. They need to be in a tank with fast-moving, or armoured fish. Folks have had sucess keeping them with danios & ottos. I keep them with larger cichlids in a much larger tank.

I got a dwarf puffer fish a couple months ago w/o really knowing what they were like - They look so darn innocent dont they? He wouldnt eat flake food and started biting at the fins of all the other fish. I got some frozen brine shrimp at my LFS and that helped a LOT. He stays docile as long as hes had enuff meat to eat.

The jury still isnt out on this guy tho - he sometimes starts nipping again at any fish that swims by, so i throw in a little more brine shrimp and hes fine. I named him "Fakker" cuz "I have my eye on him"

Im not familiar with all your fish - but the guppy is definitely a no-no. I have a baby platy that he ignores mostly, i think, cuz there are other fish w/ bigger tails for him to bite at.
