I just noticed that my one male tiger barb is getting picked on, one of the other fish nipped off his tail fin. This tiger barb is a dwarf compared to the other 4 tigers, for some reason it never grew like the rest. I see it eating all the time, though. |

If the 'webbing' of the fin is torn, it will grow back no worries. But if the 'ray(s)' of the fin are damaged, it may be iffy if it will grow back fully. I think someone here once told me, at least with Bettas if they are bitten down to a certain point they will not grow back, or not as full. My 2 Betta's Cy and Deshi got at eachother a couple times while I had them and Deshi's tail fins never fully grew back, only about half way. |
