I have 2 Banded rainbows (trifasciatus) and 3 chequered (M.s. inornata). At the moment they are getting flake food and pellets, which they love, but I dont think they are as colourful as what they should be. Let me know what food best brings out their colours. thanx |

So if you have juveniles, you'll have to be patient I'm afraid! ![]() As for the best foods, I'd go for the recipe that works with my Lemons and other Tetras ... intersperse live foods such as Daphnia and Bloodworm with colour flakes. That combination works wonders on all kinds of fishes (my Pencil Fishes now have almost ruby red on their sides!) and chances are this would make even already colourful Rainbow Fishes come alive and glow with colour.
