I'm looking into gradually re-stocking my 54l tank. It's ready to go, just needs fish!

Previously I've had cory's, platy's, even tetra's at one point. The substrate is sand, I have plants and a cave.

I now need suggestions as to what combinations I can have. I'm thinking cory's and platy's but I'm open to other ideas!

With that sized-tank and a sand substrate you could have a nice multi colony, you'd just have to add shells.

You could keep a pair of rams in there with a group of ottos and possibly a platy or 2

How abut a small feature fish with a school of somthing?

like a pygmi gourami and 5-6 micro galaxi rasbora?

or a badis badis (or dario dario) and 5-6 sparrow rasbora? (nice red theme tank with these fish)

or you could try dwarf puffers? or (i may be wrong) 1 figure 8 puffer in the tank?
