So I bought a plant today from a LFS. But then I saw something red by the roots of it. I was like what is that. Then I saw it move, I was like gross. I think it was a red colored worm. I saw two of those on the plants roots. So I took a the metal coil clip that was on the plant and I scrape the worm off of the plant into the trash can. Has any one seen a red worm before?

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

Plants from azgardens often come with red worms. They say it's harmless. The worms disappear within a week of putting the plants in the tank. Not sure if the fish eat them or they just die in tank conditions. Can't say this is for certain the same thing though. Could be all sorts of critters. It's a good idea with questionable things like that to dip the plants in potassium permanganate or a really weak bleach solution before adding them to the tank.
