I'm going to have to start all over again. So for the next 6 months or so my fish will have to make do with their old 95 gal. home, while I am going to work my but off making them the best biotope tank they ever had. There IS a good side to all of this; I can put in another fish that I ran into on the website of a Belgian fish store. Gyrinocheilus Pennocki, the cousin of the well known chinese algae eater, also lives in the area where my fish come from. Recreating the biotope means that both the flying fox and the new Spotted Algae Eater will have to (re)define their territories. If all goes well, I hope to have a splendid Nam Theun River biotope up and running next fall. |
