I just finished up a horrible battle with whitespot-ich.
My remaining stock in my 46 gallon bow front tank is

2-Keyhole cichlids
3-rummynose tetras(will go to 7-9)
5-Harliquin rasboras(will go to 7-9)
6-Albino Corys
2-ottos

I was thinking of some a pearl gourami or somethings else.

What do you think of

Blue or German Rams
Kribs(aggressive?)
Other??? Another school of bleeding heart tetras???

Any suggestions would be great.

filling out the schools is a good idea. i'd probably go with some sort of gourami as a centerpiece fish - or a pair of dwarves, something like that.

not too sure about the rams - they're supposedly not as aggressive as kribs, but with the keyholes you've already got a pair of bottom dwelling territorial-type fish. just my 2cents

Make sure you've waited a few weeks to ensure that the ich is all gone, then yes fill out the schools first, dont' forget that ottos are schoolers too .

NOT A PAIR UNLESS TRYING TO BREED!!!!!!!
The males can kill and will kill the females after a while.
So I would only say 2 females.
