chip Hobbyist Posts: 51 Kudos: 36 Votes: 0 Registered: 20-May-2004	yesterday i stopped an employee at a major retail store from selling 2 0scars and a bala shark to a lady who had just bought herself a 10 gal. tank (it was still in the cart) i explained they would get to big and the tank wasn't cycled yet and then pointed her to this site for help. thought i'd tell you because the store made me mad ]:\|]:\| [span class="edited"][Edited by koi keeper 2004-07-01 10:56][/span]

I wouldn't try to cause any trouble with them and just tell the lady what she needs to know and those guys that work at those store usually don't know much about fish and are just doing their job.

I dont really like'em but "a 5 gallon... i'd go with three" just makes me MAD!!! and bettas too next thing you know they will be putting THEM in like... bottle caps... i dunno if the ones telling lies and stuff are better or worse then the ones who dont care at all [example: Dad: Ok honey we can only get one more fish Little girl:This one! (points to iridescent shark) Attendant: this one? ok!(puts shark in bag and gives to the little girl)] I wanna get a job at apet store and tell people the truth!!!
