I believe I have seen Ctenolucius hujeta called a "Rocket Gar", but it could be any number of predatory Characoids. Whatever it is, it likely very predatory, very timid, and going to get very large. A 70 gallon tank should be the minimum, and it will need a constant supply of live foods (it may only accept fish, in which case you'll want to start breeding your own to prevent the spread of disease). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Most people buy them as single specimens and are disappointed when they see how shy they are. The convicts should be fine to feed them... Just make sure the convicts are healthy before you use them as feeders, and also give them high quality food (so the nutrients will then transfer to your "Rocket Gars"). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
