 | Seashells in freshwater aquarium? |
Gills  Hobbyist Posts: 53 Kudos: 41 Votes: 0 Registered: 06-May-2004   | I have a ten gal tank and want to add a few seashells, the fish in the tank are zebra danios and guppies. Will this hurt anything? |

Babelfish         Administrator Small Fry with Ketchup Posts: 6833 Kudos: 8324 Votes: 1570 Registered: 17-Apr-2003    | You also have to coat them as shells will leech calcium which will raise the kh and also the ph. Depending on how many you add, you may run into problems. ^_^  |
