Snails Or Catfish Or Both? | |

If, with more tiger barbs and apple snails you still would like something on the bottom, I would recommend ghost shrimp (thought they could get picked on). |

You may want to try a pleco that doesn't grow very large, such as a brittle nose or a rubber lipped pleco. Another option may be 2 - 3 Ottos ^_^ Inky |

They usually won't eat anything but algae, so without it they will die. I think a pleco would be too wasteful. Even the smaller ones. It would quickly up the nitrates in a tank as small as a 15g. |
