I am proud to announce that I am spreading the joy of fish keeping like a farmer spreads manuer... with gusto! When I started my job in February, the first question I asked was, "Can I have a fish.... or two?" They were a little taken back, but quickly agreed. So, I brought in Talula who is my Betta. People would come over and stare at him and talk to him. I even let some of them feed him (never too much though). Then one of my co-workers said she wanted one. So, I helped her get all the things she needed for her first Betta. It was nuts after that. Soon everyone wanted a fish. So, being the fish guy I am, I wrote up a word document that basically had the do's and dont's of fish keeping. At last count, of the 35 people in my office, 11 have fish and 4 more have bowls. It keeps spreading. And just to calm all of your worries, I am keeping a vigilant eye over everyone. I must approve your choice of equipment, decor, and fish. I also am very firm on making sure water changes are done once a week and only water that is room temperature and has been sitting for a week is used to refill. So, I just felt I had to let everyone know that the joy of fish keeping has been spread a little more. Thanks for reading this.

Yes, spreading the hobby is important. I havnt even told any of my friends i have an aquarium yet. Maybe sophomore year(this year)

Great job. I love the idea of the pageant. It would be awsome to see all those beautiful fish. I hope you keep doing what ever your doing. Cause it seems to be working.
