bonny Ultimate Fish Guru Engineer in waiting Posts: 3121 Kudos: 498 Votes: 7 Registered: 09-Mar-2003	Hi there I currently have a 48"16"18"(tall) tank (roughly those measurements). In there at the moment are 2 adult angels, 9 x-ray tetras, 6 peppered corries and a bristlenose plec. If i got a trio of bolivian (or possibly german) rams do you think i would have space to bump up the schools of cories and/or tetras? Or would it be just better just bumping up the schools instead of the rams?

(thats what I got when I plugged in the values in the calculator) I definitely think you'd have room for more cories. In a 4 foot tank, I think you could fit around 10 cories atleast, even with the BN and the rams. And since you only have one school of tetras, I think you could add more, to get the number to around 12 or 14. Get the rams...they are very pretty. You'll enjoy them. *Kristin*

bonny Ultimate Fish Guru Engineer in waiting Posts: 3121 Kudos: 498 Votes: 7 Registered: 09-Mar-2003	Yeah I've kept rams before and they are great fish, had bolivians before so might try my look with germans (thats if i trust my mum with them when i go to uni lol) I'll remeasure the tank when i get in, might need to knock a couple of " off the height as obviously it's not filled to the brim because of the hood etc.
