Well I am moving all of my fish from my 10 gallon tank up to my 29 gallon, and I was wondering If anyone had stocking suggestions for what I should add to the soon to be empty.

The only fish I am set on are otos because I tend to get massive algae in this tank due to it being in a room with 5 windows

I am assuming at this point that otos will be the most efficient algae eaters without monopolizing the tank. I would like to save room for more colorful and active fish, so what is the minimun number of otos should I get? I've heard that 3 is usually best, but could I get away with 2 and have them still be happy?

so... aside from cleaning fishies, what else would be nice? I was thinking of maybe a pair of rams, now that my big tank is a community I could go for something a little different. with 2 (or 3) otos and a pair of rams, would the tank be full? if not then what else would be nice?

any other ideas along those lines?

Actually, the ottos and rams sound good. Get three otos, and 2 rams. I would suggest german/blue rams instead of bolivians because they stay smaller.

OR you could make it a Shellie tank Shelldwellers, being on of the smaller cichlids, make great fish in a trio in a ten gallon IMO. Post if you want more info about them.
