Hello all

I have a fully cycled 26g tank and today im goint to buy my first fishes.I have 4 rummy nose tetras in an other 26gal now & im thinking to make a nice school for them so 8-10 rummys for the new tank also 6 bronze corys and maybe a pair of dwarft gouramis....so we have: 8-10 rummys
6 bronze corys
2 dwarft gour.
How that stocking sounds to you? Will i have overstocking problems or i am ok ?Will these fishes be ok with each other?

Those fish should all be fine with each other, and your tank does not sound at all overstocked. I think you have a nice tank planned. One problem is that sometimes, two male gouramis will battle each other. This depends on the sex and personalities of the two. No harm is done in the fighting, and no other occupants of the tank will be hurt. It is just a challenge for position.

Like Nick said, great stocking, but I'd strongly recommend getting just one dwarf gourami. When I got mine, everyone in the tank at the store was picking on e/o, so unless you want the possibility of torn fins, I'd consider getting just one, and bringing up the number of cories you have to 8.

You're right about not adding all the fish at the same time. Three to four fish at the same time is probably safe, though I don't do more than three. Since tetras don't produce much waste, I would add four of those today, then hold off for a week or so.

Wait wait wait. Your tank is FULLY cycled? Did you fishless cyle or cycle with fish? If you fishless cycled, you can add them ALL at once, like I did. If you cycled with fish, then yes I would space out the additions a bit. I'd do it gourami followed by all corys followed by all tetras.
