A RTBS will get too big for a 30g and they can get aggressive towards other bottom dwellers.

The tetras and rasboras would be happier with 6-8 of them. The flames especially, as they can be a bit nippy towards other fish.

The cories would like atleast 6. What type are they?

If you leave off the RTBS then you could squeeze in a DG. I would only get one though because males will fight and if you get a M/F pair, the males can be aggressive towards the females.

Any other cool fish besides the dwarf gourami because those seem to be boring. Im gonna fill out both of my schools, but move my rasboras to a new tank. So any new suggestions for my 30 gallon.

Bolivian Rams are pretty cool. You could get 1 male or a male/female pair.

It wouldn't eat all the other fish, but they're real territorial and would stress the other fish out, bringing on potential problems. And, as stated above, they'd need a larger tank.

I know, somebody always has to be different
I have a 30g with neons, BN, RTBS, cherry barbs, kuhlis, ADF...and probably more fish, I've been rearranging tanks and 'leftover' fish go in there

He's a great fish...absolutely gorgeous, works on algae, has never bothered any of the other fish.

Although females are supposed to be larger than males, I've still read potential size of anywhere from 4" to 6.5"

Just make sure you have some sort of cave or hiding place, they do like that. And maybe getting a young/small one will help.

Keep us posted how it goes for you

I think that the shark will be okay.

As long as it has hiding places - which it does.

And i don't know about Corys in general, but mine are happy to swim into other fish (literally headbutting them) and are gone before the fish has time to retaliate (which leaves my big bull platy very confused)

But i do agree about upping the shoals.
