T5 Lighting Question - Help! | |
wnytank Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 1 Registered: 29-Nov-2008 | Hi, I have a mature tank for about 5 years now. It is a 75 gallon 48x18 inch with no center brace. I know the only light that will work is a t5. I am trying to research the different models, but am unable to get some quality feedback. I am looking at the Nova Extreme 2x54w, Satellite 2x65W SunPaq w/Lunar Light and Hagen Glo T5 HO Linear Fluorescent Lighting System models. Any feedback and or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. The only things i know about these 3 models is that the lunar light is appealing to me, however i have also been told I can not use the satellite model with a canopy, which I have also considered. pLease advise... Regards Chris |

I bought the 4x54w t5 model and the light that comes with the standard model. They are interchangeable. You can run the t5 with 2 or 4 lamps lit and it comes with 2 actinic if you choose salt water. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3730+16730&pcatid=16730 http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/212184/product.web |
