I have a danio that is too small to go into my goldie tank with the other danios (there are 8 danios in total) and I need to move him out of my 5 1/2 gallon. Can he go with my paradise fish untill he gets bigger?
I also have a cardnal tetra in the 5 1/2 that I need to move. Can he go with the paradise fish also untill I can get more to make a school?

Also one more question for future reference, what is compatible with a pardise fish?

it really depends on your fish's "attitude" if its mean your obviously gonna want to stock with fish that can stand up for themselves. If its peaceful i assume it would be ok in any community setting. I keep my paradise with puffers/tiger barbs/ottos

I had to move it from a community tank because I THOUGHT it was bullying the other fish and killing them, but I'm not too sure if it was her (its a female) The other fish in that tank included: white skirt tetras, swordtails, a gourami, and platies.

I keep barbs, danios, WCMMs, gambusia, platies, swords and a few other misc things with my paradisefish.

a single danio might be a target tho, can he go live with a friend?

Okay, I moved the remaining 3 danios and 2 WCMM to the 50 gallon to join the school in there. I decided to put the smaller danio into the 50 gallon because I don't think the goldfish would be able to eat him. Hopefully I'm right. So now I'm left with 1 female betta, 1 otto, and 1 cardnal tetra in the 5 1/2 gallon. I was thinking of maybe adding a few more cardnals? For Christmas I might be getting a canopy so I can plant the tank.

I bought my first paradise because he was so friendly at the store, following me around, watching my finger on the side of the tank. He's super friendly and will nibble on my finger when it's in the tank. He also gets excited when he see's me. He's currently living with two blue rams, a school of black widow tetras, an otto, and three fancy guppies. That tank is pretty peaceful.
On the other hand, I bought two more paradise fish for my other tank which is full of Endler's and an otto. I bought these two because they seemed to have gotten along well together. They do put on an attitude with other fish. My advice is to carefully select one that is friendly, like my first. You'll have to watch the tank for a few minutes, but you can usually tell.
Good luck
