I have a 32gallon currently with 5 peal danios, 2 zebra danios, and 4 blue cories. I just want some ideas of what else i could put in. I was thinking of putting in 2 more cories, 4 ottos, 6-8 cardinal tetras, 6-8 glo light tetras, and a pair of dwarf gouramies. Would this be overstocking the tank? I may move the danios out.

EDIT: I now have 6 blue cories

Would you be moving all the danios out or just one type? If so I would say you could have the six cories, six cardinals, six glowlights, and pair of dwarf gouramis. Another option would be to have one large school of tetras instead of two smaller.

Four otos might be pushing it...they can be a bit sensitive too and need a good, established supply of algae in the tank when added.

Well I would see if the lfs would take all of the danios. My tank is covered in algae. Strands of thread algae cover most of the plants in my tank and the strands are larger than the length of my hair! I purposely did not clean the back and sides of the tank for a few weeks now since I knew i would be getting ottos. How about 2 or 3 then?

Edit: What about if I fed them cubumber and algae wafers?

I think I would like to go with
6-8 Cardinal Tetras
6-8 Glow light or black neon tetras
6 cories which I already have
3 or 4 ottos
2 dwarf gouramies

Would I be overstocked if I kept 7 danios in my tank also?

I think the adding the danios would overstock the tank. They might bother the slower gouramis, too. Sometimes danios pester slow fish with long fins, etc. Just go with the stocking list you have, that looks just right.

Thanks sirbooks,
You have been a lot of help. The problem I have though is the danios are in the tank already. And I don't have any other tanks. I should see if the lfs will take them back.
