The most common Toadfish is the 'Freshwater' Lionfish, Halophryne trispinosus AKA Batrachomoeus trispinosus. We heard that some are bringing it into brackish conditions, and that doesnt sound too far fetched (common in esturies and the like) and some stores around here appear to be selling a variant as a FW puffer (there are NO FW PUFFERS on the legan import list and as far as i know, very few being bred if at all, so its not hard to ID them) So yes, we were thinking of going fishing.... ![]() |
