wats the meanest fish u have ever had i know mine was a 23 inch dovii cichlid. it killed a 48 sliver arowana along with a breeding pair of red terrors.

the tank size was a 10' 6'.

had plenty of hideing places but he was just to strong and moved huge rocks and driftwood. i he moved a 30 pound rock.

wow - gonna research the dovii - sounds fierce!

For me -based on experience only -it was my venustus (since returned to the LFS). This fish systematically decimated my demasoni population by preventing them from eating - he starved them to death - kept them pinned down in their hiding spots at all times. He'd hover in the centre of the tank like a guard dog, and if anything moved - he chased it down.

Now anytime I see one in an LFS I cringe - its like a beautiful vampire - your drawn to it, but it will just destroy you in the end.

72G Bowfront. 1 Sunshine Peacock, 2 Yellow Labs, 1 Ps. Elongatus, 1 Blue Ahli, 1 Red Kadanga, 1 Mel. Exasperatus, 1 metriaclima emmiltos, 1 Ancistrus.

14.5G 4 Neon Tetras.

badass electric yellow lab. it is boss of my mbuna tank, and dominates over psudotropheous saulosi, melanochomis auratus, other agressive species. and a 6" CAE. yellow labs are regarded as the most peaceful mbuna, yeah right. he killed a melanochromis auratus male I specifically bought to take over the tank, the shopkeeper said it was the most agressive fish he'd ever seen (and he specialises in mbuna), and it was kept in a tank by itself because every other fish that went in there didn't come out alive. didn't last long in my tank, with my posessed yellow lab. the only reason the other fish survive is because there are so many rocks in there, and so many places to hide. if the yellow lab is out of his cave, no other fish is in sight.

A male auratus cichlid. He killed many fish and many that were much larger than him. plus, you could tell by his color when he was angry.

Wow bubblebrain - a lab????

Sounds like you need to perform an exorcism or something?

thats easy, still to this day,my female pearl dragon flowerhorn, she was about 30cm of killing machine, the death toll with her was HUGE!just to give you a idea how bad she was,she was that nasty, she even killed a male wolf cichlid(dovi)in a 208 galon tank,i tryed to put in with her...everything was fine at lights out, then the next moring,my girlfriend said that she herd them splashing aroung in the middle of the night,so in i went to find the dovi dead!he had no eyes, all his fins were torn, and covered with teeth and bite marks.there was bit of fins and scales floating everywhere, and there right at the front of the tank, theres my flowerhorn, saying i told ya....

yea i dont think i could have even put a FH in that tank with my dovii unless they where around the same size and maybe it owuld work out but idk it would still be really rishy for the FH. i put in a sweet looking 30 inch jardini arowana and they worked out just fine only because the jardini killed out a whole 4k gallon pond and so i put it in with the dovii and it worked out till both died of old age. they where around 15 years old i really miss them now

I bought a full grown male kenyi at my LFS and it beat the snot out of everything in my 38 gallon tank. I had to take it out within like 10 min and return it.

One female kenyi has permanent scarring on her mouth now.
