Today I found my Dojo Loach dead on the ground next to my tank. My lid is very tight, I have no clue how he got out. I have been hunting for this for like 3 weeks. I have had him for like 2 weeks. At first i thought it was a leaf, then mouse crap then i got closer and i saw it was my dried out Dojo Loach, He was kinda wet on the bottom (not Brown). Just felt like sharing...

Sorry, for your loss. I've found that there are a lot of fish that can find even the smallest opening in the tank lids and get out. Sometimes they seem to be much smaller than the fish that squeeze out, so you really need to close them up.

Sorry for your loss... its always traumatic finding them dried out on the floor.. ive had a butterfly fish somehow make it out a tiny hole near the filter hoses in the corner.. unfortunately it happens..

i would suggest maybe some flyscreen or mesh of somekind to cover any small holes left from hoses and equipment.

Sorry for your loss. Keep in mind that any inverts or things like loaches or eels are master escape artists, as they naturaly hide in tight places in the wild.
