I know guppies can take a wide range of temperatures, but this seems a bit much. I also do not have a heater. I'll do graffiti, If you sing to me in French. |

Less heat, less energy consumed, a nicer, more 'natural' looking light. Get a 'Daylight' bulb, about 6700K rating. This will open options for you if you decide you want some real plants later also.
