The odd ones are some of my favorites too, but I don't currently have funds to keep quite a collection. Right now my oddest fish are my Royal Plec and my Mudskipper.:%)

Toirtis should get together with Richard Hardwick from Practical Fishkeeping and Sean Evans with a list like that ... they'd enjoy comparing oddballs

tortis how is your tank setup for reedfish or freshwater seahorse. i always wanted them. but i heard they were hard to keep. i was thinking of a tall tank with vals or horworth. brackish with lots of adult guppys for the reed fish to hunt and snack on the frys.

Most of the unusual species I've kept are loricariids. Others include peacock eels, banjo cats, and various puffs.

My ropefish tank is fine gravel bottom (natural gravel), heavily planted with some driftwwod and rock structures.

I cannot say that I know what you are refferring to by 'freshwater seahorse'.
