Well I moved the smaller one in with the bigger one. I guess I will see if that was a mistake or not. I got new fish so i had to move him out of there. I just hope alfred(the bigger one) will be friends with him and not try to eat him . That would be sad .

I had two for a couple years. I agree with Zebra on the food menu. I moved mine in with Oscar on an experimental basis. They lived together for a month or so and then disappeared. They used to hide from him pretty good but they are gone now.

Usually ACF's dont like strong lights... but after awhile they will get use to it. My albino one doesnt mind the strong light anymore. When I got my ACF he hid all the time in dark places but now he sits on the bottom and doesnt mind the light. So no they dont need a differnt type of light. And on what to feed them... they like shrimp pellets frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp. they like live feeder fish too. but make sure that it isnt too big for them. I have heard that they will eat ghost shrimp but i havnt got any to see if they would eat them, so I am not too sure on that one. HTH

Well as some of you know I got a clawed frog about 2 weeks ago. Well he is doing fine still. I put him in my 5.5 g. tank which has a few guppies in there. Well in my other thread I said how he was getting in the filter and such, well now he is feeling more confident i think b/c he doesnt hide in/behind the filter anymore, he swims around and sets on the bottom where he can be seen ... . I cant wait till he is bigger so I can move him in with alfred(my albino ACF). but he still needs to grow a little first. Well, just thought I would update everyone on him!!

Yes sand is the best subsrate for them cause it is softer than the rest of the other gravels!

yeah they are awesome. People have differnt thoughts about the min. tank size... but for me I think that a 10g. tank is ok to house 2 of them. But some people say that a 20g. should have 2 in there. They are very neat... I suggest you looking into them. If you do get one- try to get sand as the substrate...
