I just upgraded my 55 gal tank to a 125gal. I only have two oscars, two aglea eaters and a fire mouth cichlid.

My new set up has a overflow system with a wet/dry filtration. Is there any media that I have to add to the filter? I have the sponges and bio balls in there. I ask because I noticed an odor associated with the tank now.

Grats on the upgrade. Im not too experienced with that filtration system, but many LFSs sell carbon "pads" that are nice and big and u can cut them to the proper size that you need. You can try one of those, I guess.
