My angelfish have spawned, again, and I'm leaving the eggs with them this time. They're not real good about picking off the fungused eggs so I'm considering adding Maroxy by Mardel to the water to keep the fungus from spreading. Will it mess up my bacteria colony on my sponge filter?

No doubt the Angels will eat the eggs so any med would not be required...

Maroxy is stabilized chlorine oxide which will kill the good bacteria in your tank.

Methylene Blue in a separate tank with the eggs is the usual procedure to prevent fungus on the eggs.

Infertile eggs will turn white.

I'm hoping they won't gobble up the eggs and will raise the fry for a few weeks. Wishful thinking on my part I'm sure but you never can tell... Thanks for letting me know that maroxy isn't the way to go unless I want to really mess things up in the tank. Don't want to do dat!
