from replies i've received telling me that my corys would be more active if they were in a bigger shoal. i went out and looked in 5 local stores and i found some cory juillis at £4.50 each thats about $8-$9 good price? i think so.

i brought 2 of them, i now have 7 cory juillis in my 15g. the 2 new ones have settled in well and have eaten, i think. but they still are not very active, they all hide at the back near the filter. would have a dither fish like used in discu tanks?? would that make them feel safer? Is there room in tank for anyother fish??
what can i do in the tank to make them feel safer??

it is 24x12x12 inches, has <1/2 inch sand at the front, then some flat rocks holding back about 2-3 inches of river gravel with some live plants. The lighting is not very bright on from 9am til 10pm. temperature is 24C.

the tank is placed in the hallway, but doesn't have heavy trafic through it.

i would like to breed them, has anybody got experience at breeding juilli??
