It looks to be a Serpae tetra but it may be a red phantom, the colors look weird

Yeah i really need to get a copy of photoshop hehehehe Thanks. i thought they might have been a red phantom but the tail doesn't give the right colors for a red phantom and the black mark in near their gills gives me the impression its not a serpe tetra at all because my sister in law has serpe tetras and they don't look anything alike.

The fish has a yellow/gold body with red fins. Dorsal Fin and lower fins are tipped with either a white or blue, not sure which

I'm not really sure what you've got there. It's not a red phantom tetra, but it is something in the genus Hyphessobrycon. The closest I can think of is a serpae or a flame tetra, but even those don't look right. The colors in the dorsal and caudal fins are what don't quite match, since they are both red most of the way through.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

It's Hyphessobrycon roseus, a relatively uncommon species in stores, and not to be confused with Hyphessobrycon rosaceus (the Rosy Tetra).

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.
