Well i was in the fish store the other day and i was looking at the tank of the feeder gold fish and i saw what looked like a large giant daino in there with them...so i bought it and put it in with my other giant dainos...
but its way diffrent...although it has a very light tint of blue on its side, its dorsal fin is pointed straight up unlike the dainos, and its anal fin is the same way...also hes doesnt like the dainos at all (doesnt school) and hes seems smarter and feeds way diffrent. Could it be possible i have some wild florida fish that got thrown in with the goldfish shipment? ps Hes def not a tinfoil

Its really hard to tell without a picture. Can you possibly post one? Then you will get more responses.

A while back I purchased an AWSOMELY colored fish from a feeder tank (he was about 1/2" if that) and he turned out to be a Mbuna. Is he the same size as your danios? Same basic shape?

I dunno about the exact identification, but I can confirm that Florida farms often get other critters mixed in with their feeder fish. I've seen multiple different fish species, tadpoles, and even odd insects which were shipped up with feeder fish. It's very possible that you have a Florida native, if that is where your shop gets their food fish from.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
