You can start now but they will grow faster on BBS. I always kept up the BBs for about 3 months and added feedings of Hikari First Bites as they grew.

You can also start feeding them finely powdered flake now. I would continue the BBS at the same time though, as stated above, they will grow quicker on it. Some other things that are great, are micro worms (live foods) if you know someone that has a culture.

Does anyone ever feed sea monkeys to fish?

The sea monkeys are fed a powder, is this harmful for the fish that in turn eat the sea monkeys??

Anyone ever done it?

To the best of my knowledge

sea monkeys = brine shrimp

and therefore are a pretty common fish food.

As for the powder, I'm not sure what's in it, but I'd guess that it would be ok.

As Mike said he feeds his baby angels "sea monkeys" or baby brine shrimp for 3 months.
Many, many angelfish breeders feed their angels brine shrimp.

Sea monkeys are brine shrimp. Lots of people feed them to their fish. You feed them as soon as they hatch, usually. If you were to feed the brine shrimp to grow them I doubt thier food would harm your fish.

Thanks for everyones replies.

I know BBS is good for angels, but i aint talking about one day hatched BBS.

The actual question is if BBS have been fed that powdered food that sea monkeys come with to keep them alive.

Whether they will harm the angels?

I would keep them of BBS.

Are they big enough to eat tubifex yet?

We used to feed our angles tubifex after a while (The worm would throw the fish around
