To answer that question, we need some basic information.

[1] What species of fish is exhibiting this behaviour?

[2] What size aquarium is it in?

[3] What furnishings are present in the aquarium?

[4] What other fish species are present with it?

Anwer those four questions and we can begin to solve your problem. Without answers to the above, however, it's going to be a bit difficult to answer your question!

Paul just put his fish from an old tank into his new 33 gal. tank. One of his fish was having trouble adjusting to the new lighting conditions.

The fish is fine now. I guess it was shy or wants to know the lightening condition. The light is like a little pink and a white one.

I have a feeling Paul's English is still coming along. He writes and reads "ok" probably, but like most English learners he is having a hard time with comprehension. Am I right Paul? You are doing fine. just keep up the hard work with the language. Do try to correct some of the issues with your tanks and their stocking as others have suggested though.

Lol! Thank you for the correction Bignose.

Your doing fine, just keep...

You're or You are doing fine ...

Though, this should just be taken as evidence that even native speakers make many, many mistakes. Paul, your English is pretty good, just the lack of information in this thread was rather confusing and surreal (as said above).
