I'm going to be the advocate here and say that yes, although there is a good chance that they will, it really depends on the kribs. Most of the time, kribs are very aggressive during spawning and will attack anything that moves, especially nosey bottom dwellers like cories. On the other hand, some kribs just don't seem to have that fire in them. I probably wouldn't risk it, just for the sake of the cories but it's really impossible to give a definite answer.

My Bolivian Rams become territorial when they bred. During feeding times, they tend to push the Leopard Cories away. No injuries or deaths though

I have the odd pair of kribs, definitely a M & F, who won't breed and who don't bother any of the bottom feeders in the 30g where they live.

Almost ANY breeding cichlid will attack anything. Kribensis are no exception. They are quite agressive when breeding, but fine when not.

Depends on the Kribs maybe? And the size of the tank..
I have some really non aggressive Kribs in a 20 gal long that are ok with 6 Ottos, a baby CAE, and a pair of African Butterfly fish (of course these guys stay at the surface)..
But mine haven't had a successful spawn yet..their eggs either weren't fertile...or , being new at this..they ate them regardless this time. I've know ppl who kept them with Cories throughout spawnings..in tanks where the cories had plenty of room when the babies got big enough to go on outtings..
I have a divider for my tank(in case of emergency), and all of my other fish can go into a community I have setup..in the event that the Kribs did get too nasty for them though.
I will say, though, that my Kribs even with eggs weren't as nasty as my Skunk Botias (they went back to LFS after harrassing the poor Kribs).

Kribs, even when not breeding, can be downright nasty.

They will attack any bottom feeder when they'll breed.

OK this is my first poll. Do you think that a breeding pair of kribs will attack cories? I want to put a pair of kribs in my 29 with 6 cories, 3 zebra danios, and 2 blue tetras. I ask cause most fish leave cories alone. Most don't even notice them.
[option1]yes they will[/option1]
[option2]no they won't[/option2]

I've had Kribs that left everything alone but I also had a female that would pop the eyes out of my Cories just for fun. That was without any breeding. Kribs have a wide range of personalities but if you get an aggresive one, look out!

I think they will. If they will attack my hand then the most likely attack cory also.

I have a pair of kribs with fry in a tank that's right next to another tank. I had to put a folder in between the two to keep the female from beating herself to death against the glass trying to get to the swords in the other tank.

I guess they will attack most fish.

It's a very, very, very good chance that a breeding pair of an already quite aggressive, bottom-dwelling species will go after other, nosy bottom-dwellers.

Also, are you sure the Giant Danios were a good idea? A 30" tank is a little short for an active 6" schooler - most Silver dollar species hit the same length and almost everyone recommends 6' tanks for them.
