Sorry... I didn't see your reply... Most likely they're planaria.. They are harmless... However what causes them is not... They are a symptom of bad water quality... You need to change 20% of the water in your aquariums weekly (twice a week would be better) and you need to do gavel vacs. You should feed your fish less... Only what you can see them eat... Correct your water quality and they should starve and go away.

Planaria... They can rage from white to pink to even slightly brown depending on what they eat.

However there are a good amount of aquatic worm species and it could be something completely different. If the worms are in the water and on the glass but NOT on the fish, then theres a 95% chance it's planaria. If they are on the fish then you should be concerned, and you should treat with parasite meds ASAP. Medicated food is the only type of medication that I know that can take out internal parasites.

i had them once in a dwarf puffer tank on the walls.. and from time to time the puffers would eat them... and then one day they were all gone.

i also have the same problem with little pink worms in my 75 coner tank. they dont seem to harm the fish. i guess that's what i get for not putting an underground:%)n.e way i was wondering what can i do to get rid of them. plus its not that easy for me b/c if i were to add a fish to eat them it would have to be big enough to with stand a 2 foot clown knife. my clown knife is tame, but when i had a 10 inch high fin loach he went after it. so i need a larger fish that would eat worms. also i heard about this trap that is used for salt water. u put food inside and let the worms go in and they can't go back out. will this work?

You're clown knife is going to get up to 4 feet, in case you didn't know. I don't think that would work because they are such predators, they would probably eat your other fish. What size tank are you keeping him in now and what are the other inhabitants of the 75g?

They are on the fish?
My guess would be they are leeches dude.
What I would do if I were you is 2 things:
First, If you can get us a picture of these worms, please do. Also, look at this link below to see if what you have is planaria.
Planaria

2) Cut down on feeding! If you have planaria, it is due to overfeeding the fish. I get these on the inside of my 10g hood lid, because its small and food gets on the lid and sticks. Most fish, espescially dwarf gouramis, mollies, guppies, and flying foxes, will eat planaria. They are not a threat, just gross looking.

If you believe you have leeches - do they stick to the fish, and do they leave little round red sores? Then they are leeches. Pick up some "Clout" or "Kent Marine RX-P" at the fish store. Follow directions. Do not use Clout if you have loaches, catfish, or invertebrates (snails, shrimp, etc).
Leeches
I hope this helps you some.
Please get back to us and let us know which of these you believe it to be.

Also, If it is planaria- the surest way to get rid of them, Dont feed your fish for 3-4 days. This will cause the planaria to die off because they will starve to death.
