ok i was jw if i dug a pond in my backyard and put soem guppies in it would they live?

They would, at least at first. They would love the mosquito larvae, and reproduce quite well during warm weather. If you have other than tropical winters, however, you must bring them in before the weather turns cold or you will lose them. Here in Pennsylvania, I would bring in guppies in September, and White Clouds in October (they can take the cooler temps).

Hey joe! Im in Delco too. How long do you keep your ponds outside? It does get very cold here come Dec/jan.

You would have to make a fence or something. you could always put goldfish in there during the winter but you would be stuck with them.

nah i dont wanna deal w goldfish im a breeder and i was just wondering about that incase i neeeded more room to keep fish and right now im only breeding livebearers so yea if your interestid i have 6 adults and 20 fry all available i will ship sell or trade for fish stuff or new fish! email is fish_net@walla.com
