can you be;ieve that walmart has BLUE AND GOLD RAMS!? i recently got 2 blue rams and 2 bolvian rams from a specialty pet store, the bolivians were 5.00 the blues were, 6.00. well at walamrt blues and golds are 3.50! sence i had bought 2 male blue rams, it seemed quite natural to me to grab up 2 female blue rams, i wanted gold too, but they only had females.

also i have great news for my walmart! the fish guy (whom i am good friends with) told me that he had to sell all the fish out by i think may, because my walamrt is getting new fish tanks insted of only having 2 sets of 9 tanks, they are getting in 3 sets of 9 he also told me that after it is all set, that he will be aranging a huge load of rams, clown knifs, and a few others (yup my walmart sells knifs too) the fish guy tries very hard to keep his tanks clean, and it shows

wow i cant believe your walmart sells those fish! the most exotic fish my walmart sold were some serpaes

Good find, be careful with the blue rams as they seem to be e to parasites without extremely good water quality.

If it wasn't for Walmart I wouldn't have my precious Panda Cories. I found them at 2 different Walmarts and only paid like $3 each for them. Now the problem is finding more. I have 6 and want atleast 2 more, but now I can't find them anywhere.
I have never seen rams there though. It makes me so sad to see the fish tanks at the Walmarts in my area. Only one store has pretty clean tanks. The others are really nasty and they have so many fish packed into one little tank. Sad. I felt good rescueing my pandas.
Also one store recently had like 15 small Pacus. I am wondering how many people in my area have a tank big enough for a Pacu and who will buy them. Most of them will probably die because people won't buy them. And other fish that get large like Bala Sharks...I just wonder who is going to buy them. Probably some mom who's kid wants one for his 5g. Crazy. It just frustrates me to look at the Walmart tanks...

Belive it or not Walmart is the best supplier for labeled plants in this area, they do the fish of the month thing right now there selling african butterflies but there out I need to get a few of them they are wicked cool fish. The guy at my walmart he is pretty good with the tanks They are in no way taken care of right but at least he knows mostly what he is doing and learns a lot from me. He will commonly ask me questions and I gladly answer because he puts the knowledge into practice and that makes me feel better. He warned everyone that the spotted greens were brackish to marine fish once they matured and they slowly stopped carrying them before the month was out. Walmart is hit and miss I guess, and as a community all we can do is try to inform the ones who are willing to learn and complain to managers about those who don't, then go to the human society and file complaints when it gets to be to bad.
