Well, I hope you've got some huge tanks! The Clown Knife especially easily hits 4'(1.3m) with a depth of more than 2'(60cm) and needs an absolute ton of space - I dount even a 240 would cut it, since that's only twice the adult length of the fish in question at 8' long. Best bet: a custom-build huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge tank or an indoor pond. Maybe a 1000 gallon stock tank? Clowns are pretty cool, though, once they get older and less timid.

As for Bichirs - wait for Toirtis, he's the expert, although lots of other people on the site keep them and can help you out.

There's a handy little volume calculator on the site, under "Interactive - calculators." According to that, your tank is 263.76 Litres, 69 US Gallons, or 58 UK Gallons. That's far, far, far, far, far too small for an adult Clown Knife. You might want to start looking into pop-up pools, indoor ponds, and stock tanks - a 4' tank just can't hold a 4' fish.

Dude, you live in Singapore! With tropical temperatures like that you could build yourself a pond without heating it, right?

But yeah, a tank to keep those would have to be massive.

What do you want to know about the Clown Knife? Oh, BTW, though 4 feet is kind of like a world record for these fish, you won't find many that have exceeded 2 feet.

Senegal Bichirs are cool. Keep the tank covered, since they can escape. They're smaller than Ornate Bichirs, but basically care should be the same.

I've seen a few three footers at The Fish Place in Buffalo, I don't think four is too far out of the question, although I suspect they take a good bit of time to get there.

Although they can really grow to a huge size, i really love to keep them alot, especally the big golden eyes of my albino clown fish (can grow in the dark) ,

About Albino clown knife fish -
what kind of fishes can i mix him with ?
what type of food do they usually eat ?
any food recommend to make them grow fast and healthy ?

Very surprise to find so many bichirs fan out there in the world(after brownsing the bichir fourm out there), i started to keep bichirs about a year ago, they really amazed me with all their texture and colours.

In s'pore bichirs are not so popular until recently, the price really rise up alot, albino senegal,Marbled bichir-Polypterus palmas & Armoured bichir-Polypterus delhezi(15cm) S$40-S$50,ornate bichirs-Polypterus ornatipinnis(15cm) S$50-S$60

But the most expensive one(the next target lm trying to get), available in s'pore can fetch up to S$100+ with the same size(is the one that really look like a dinosaurs),can anyone confirm the Scientific name of this one and the common name with me ?
i have a picture of this fish from a website, but i don't quite trust the name given by them to this fish.

http://fnp_oddball.tripod.com/oddball/marbledbichir.jpg

and a picture of albino senegal (not the common one), is the Scientific name of this one is the same as the common senegal ?

also having:
1 pearl arowana, 1 silver arowana, 2 tiger oscar, 1 black knife fish, 2 bala shark, 1 beta,2 piscus cat fish, 2 dwarf puffer fish, 1 bronze corydoras, 2 flower horns, 2 senegal bichir, 1 albino senegal bichir(polypterus senegalus)and 1 Ornate bichir(polypterus ornatipinnis).

Are those fish all in that tank you mentioned? The 62 or whatever US gallon? If so, I recommend you find a big place to put those fish soon.

what kind of fishes can i mix him with ? I'd wait until you get a bigger tank to get him tankmates. When you do, pretty much anything that doesn't fit in his mouth would be suitable, I believe. I don't think they are an aggressive fish.
what type of food do they usually eat ? I'm not completely sure on this one, so I'll let someone else answer.
any food recommend to make them grow fast and healthy ? I'm not sure you want it growing very fast, in it's current situation. But seriously, a varied diet with bloodworms, pellet and flake foods, along with the occasional treat of beefheart or something similar, would make your clown knife very happy.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Thank for your concern janna

i have several tank actually,

one silver arowana in a 3'feet tank with 3 Pleco (suckermouth)tank mate.

one pearl arowana in a 3'feet tank with my albino clown divided from it. ( my albino clown is only about 12-13cm in length now)

two luohan fish from Cichlid family, one in each 2'feet tank, i don't think anyone can find tankmate for them, unless the tank is real big and full of hidding places.

And another 46cm x 60cm x 46 cm with all the other mention fish in it.(except my beta of course)

My 4' feet tank is still empty, haven decide a place to set up in my house, but i know i have to do something fast, espeically for my arowanas they are out growing my 3'feet tank real fast......
