Hi, can i put anything else in my 20g

currently

10 zebra danios
4 platy 3f 1m
1 plec
2 angels - now i know they will get to big for the tank but by the time they do i will either have a bigger tank, a mate who has a big tank who can take them or lfs said they will take them.

so do you think i can put anything else in and if so any ideas....???

any advice most welcome.

i would say no and ur overstocked. take out the angels now. what kind of plec is it. if its common take that out. i would make the danio school smaller or take out the platies.

You really need to get those angels out now. You could be stunting them by keeping them in a tank that is too small. If the pleco is a common pleco it also has to go. They get HUGE.

After you do that I would just get a dwarf gourami for a centerpiece. You would be pretty much stocked by then.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

As I said the angels will be coming out of the tank. at the moment they are about an 1" and a half from top fin to bottom fin so are very small. My tank is 3' long by 19" high so I would of thought they have pleanty of room for the moment.
I should be getting a much bigger tank very soon and if I havn't then I already have 2 possible homes for them.

So my next question is how quick do angels grow?

Angels grow at a high rate. I've known mine to double their size in a matter of months and they will begin to terrorise the others in the tank (excluding the plec of course). In short - they'll outgrow your tank VERY quickly. Word of warning also - plecs love to 'graze' on 'flat bodied fish' during the night so I'd be considering moving the angels sooner rather than later. I have to agree that the plec has to be rehoused too if you wish to maintain a healthy aquarium and especially if you value a healthy plec.

Ok so i have taken the angels back to the lfs as the started to get very teritorial with each other.
I have swopped them for 2 sky blue dwarf gouramis.

Just wondering do you think i could get away with a couple of kuhli loach's ?

Well, am I correct in saying that you still have:

10 zebra danios
2 dwarf gouramis
4 platys
1 plec

kuhli loaches will not fit in this tank, it is overstocked. What kind of plec is it?
