In my LFS, there is a fish called a cube fish. It is small, see-through, kinda looks like spit in the tank. If you know what I am talkin about let me know.

Thanks,
Brac

Well the box puffer and cow fish are both not "see through" so you can kind of rule those out.

Is it a marine (saltwater) fish? I've not heard of a freshwater boxfish before, the only one I can think of that may resemble one being a freshwater/brakish 'puffer'. As for those, I don't know of any that are opaque. Please clarify whether its fresh or saltwater.

The Spiny Box Puffer is saltwater. In the wild they get two feet long (or so I read), and apparently only gets about a foot long in captivity (though I don't believe that). They can be aggressive like any other puffer. However, they are not clear in the least, so I have no idea what you're talking about...

D'OH!! I read this post earlier thinking that it was some kind of freshwater fish (it is in GF after all). If it is a saltwater fish, this should be in GM.

It is a cubefish, on the name tag, not puffer, or yellow, cow boxfish

Don't you love it when the LFS makes up names? No such common name exists.
