Does cycle tanks faster than new and improved cycle. I read it can cycle a tank in a week with low ammonia and nitrite levels during that time. just wondering....? |

I believe I read somewhere the manufacture had run out, and wouldn't have any in till Sept (?) I've done fine with Cycle-unsure if it was the new/improved or regular. |

By "instantly" I mean the bacteria will immediately start feasting on ammonia, thus fish can, and must, be added immediately to a new tank to provide the ammonia. Nitrifying bacteria, a colony in both products, start to multiply and the tank cycle is underway. A few fish, perhaps three medium-size, should be added immediately to the tank when the correct temp is reached. Some prefer the New Improved Cycle because it does not have to be refrigerated like Bio Spira. The bacteria are preserved in small "flocs" and become activated when added to the tank. --garyroland. |
